Getting set up
Type each dish and its price once, and choose which kitchen screen it goes to.
A venue PIN locks the till on shared devices.
On your shop Wi-Fi, scan the QR code to add a phone or tablet, then give it a job: register, waiter, kiosk or kitchen screen.
Your sales and expenses, with their GST, kept in one place, ready for you or your accountant.
Keep TalkPOS open on the screen. An iPad pauses apps that are in the background, and your kitchen screens, waiter phones and kiosk then lose touch with the register. Don’t switch to another app for long, and don’t use the same iPad as the register for a second POS app. Android phones and tablets keep the register running in the background, with a small notification to show it’s on.

What kind of business is TalkPOS for?+
Food and drink: cafés, takeaways, bakeries and small restaurants.
Do I need to be good with computers?+
No. The buttons are big and clear, and each screen does one job.
What do I need to run it?+
An Android phone or tablet, or an iPhone or iPad. For more than one device, they all join your shop Wi-Fi.
How do customers pay?+
With your own card terminal or cash, like now. You mark the order paid on the till. Your customers’ payments go straight to you, not through us.
Does it do my BAS or replace my accountant?+
No. TalkPOS keeps your sales and expenses, with their GST, in one place. You or your accountant check them and lodge.
Does it do payroll or rosters?+
Not yet. Rosters and payroll are coming, with your staff using the TalkKim app for their shifts and payslips.
How much does it cost?+
Pricing is coming soon. Pilot venues hear it first, with notice before any charge starts.
